The cabinet of the Republic of Namibia has approved the joint hosting of the AfricaSan conference with the African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW). The Cabinet further noted the sum of five million Namibian Dollars that has been provisionally budgeted for the event by the Ministry of Agriculture, Water & Land Reform, and the availability of transport logistics to ensure a comfortable movement and stay of other Ministers and delegates who will attend the conference in Swakopmund, Namibia.

Also, the Ministry of Home Affairs has been mandated to facilitate the issuance of smooth entry of delegates attending the Africa Sanitation Conference. The Cabinet further approved that the office of the President support with the accreditation of delegates, and the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation assist with Ministers and VIP protocol and Ministers of Health and Social Welfare to assist with the health of Ministers and delegates.
